Summer Tips

Exfoliate

Keep your skin glowing this summer by exfoliating. Choose a skin scrub that is specifically designed for your skin type. It is important to exfoliate a couple of times a week. This removes build up and dead skin cells on your face.


Protect

Remember to use sunscreen daily. Choose at least an SPF 30 sunscreen to use daily. It is important to pick one specifically designed for your face so it doesn't clog your pores.


Refresh

Use a weekly face mask. Again, you need to use one specifically designed to work with your skin care needs. Is you skin dry? oily? acne prone? Choose a facial mask for that skin type. You can also mix and match to treat different areas of your face.


Hydrate

Drink lots of water when the weather gets warmer. Treat yourself to a cute new water bottle to carry with you. When the water is in front of you, you are more likely to drink up.


Soothe

Sometimes we do get too much sun and treating sunburns quickly and effectively will help lower long term damage. Keep aloe vera on hand for those oopsie days. A cool bath also helps soothe and heal burned skin.
